Grants
Can you qualify for a grant?
We do not limit the disadvantages that can be considered for help. For example, if you have children who are affected by:
Their own disability.
- Impaired learning abilities.
- The disability of their parents.
- Pressure upon income
- Or any other cause.
You could be considered for a grant, whatever your disadvantage provided that:
- One of your affected children is under 18 years of age.
- Your request is genuine and necessary.
- The help given will primarily benefit disadvantaged children.
For example, you might need:
- Equipment that cannot be readily accessed elsewhere.
- A respite break.
- Educational facilities.
- Therapeutic services.
- Help with transport needs.
We allocate grants on individual merit and in consideration of
the funds available at that time.
If we cannot support agreed grants immediately through lack of funds, those applications will be placed on a waiting list
until funds are adequate and assuming the need still exists.
If you wish to apply for a grant, please print off the grant request form and post it to:
